Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform. 

• Automate Windows and Linux infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks. 

• Develop reusable Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Collections, and Automation Templates. 

• Implement infrastructure installation, configuration, and lifecycle management through automation. 

• Automate operating system installation, patching, server provisioning, and system configuration. 

• Implement security hardening standards for Windows and Linux operating systems through automated playbooks. 

• Integrate Ansible with ServiceNow to automate Incident, Change, Request, and CMDB workflows. 

• Develop Event-Driven Automation (EDA) solutions that automatically respond to infrastructure events, monitoring alerts, and operational incidents. 

• Integrate automation with enterprise monitoring and ITSM platforms. 

• Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize automation performance. 

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Operations teams to improve operational efficiency. 

• Maintain automation documentation, standards, and operational runbooks. 

• Participate in automation governance, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Infrastructure Automation

• Strong hands-on experience automating enterprise Windows and Linux infrastructure. 

• Experience automating server provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks. 

• Strong scripting and infrastructure automation experience. 

Ansible Automation

• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. 

• Strong experience developing: 

o Playbooks 

o Roles 

o Collections 

o Inventories 

o Templates 

o Automation Controller / Tower 

• Experience with Ansible best practices and reusable automation development. 

Windows & Linux Administration

• Strong administration experience in both Windows Server and Linux environments. 

• Experience automating: 

o User administration 

o Services 

o Package installation 

o Patch management 

o Configuration management 

o File system management 

Installation & Hardening

• Experience automating: 

o Operating System installation 

o Server build activities 

o Security baseline implementation 

o CIS or enterprise hardening standards 

o Compliance configuration 

ServiceNow Integration

• Experience integrating Ansible with ServiceNow. 

• Experience automating: 

o Incident Management 

o Change Management 

o Service Requests 

o CMDB updates 

• Familiarity with ServiceNow REST APIs. 

Event-Driven Automation

• Hands-on experience implementing Event-Driven Automation (EDA). 

• Experience automating responses to: 

o Monitoring alerts 

o Infrastructure events 

o Operational incidents 

o System failures 

• Experience integrating monitoring platforms with automation workflows. 

Scripting

• PowerShell 

• Bash 

• Python (preferred) 

Version Control & DevOps

• Git 

• CI/CD pipelines
