Job Summary

A warehouse supervisor manages daily shift operations, team productivity, and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, loading, picking, packing, and dispatch processes to meet strict carrier deadlines
• Assign shift tasks to team members to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency
• Train new staff on warehouse procedures and safety protocols to maintain high performance standards
• Monitor team performance metrics and provide ongoing coaching to improve productivity and quality
• Resolve item discrepancies by investigating and updating records using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or business preferred
• 2 to 3+ years of hands-on warehouse or logistics supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency in WMS software, inventory databases, and MS Office preferred
• Strong leadership, conflict resolution, time management, and multi-tasking skills preferred
