Job Purpose

The program is designed for young professionals(graduates) and immerse them into DHL Global Forwarding Air Freight Products and become Air Freight professionals.

Key Responsibilities

· Joining our program will set you up for a thriving future with DHL Global Forwarding Air Freight Products. The program is designed to challenge you and provide the skills and experience you need to progress for your career. It also provides the opportunity of contributing to innovative solutions for our customers and shape the future of Air Freight.

· The Air Freight Next International Forwarders will be placed on several different functional assignments of approx. 6 months each. The foundational assignments which cover the core base of our Air Freight products consisting of Products & Services, Pricing& Procurement, Operations. The non-foundational assignments will enable the Air Freight Next International Forwarders to further specialize in different functions which could be eCommerce, Starbroker, Carrier/Charter Management, Route Development Management, Operations & Procurement.

· The personal and professional development of the Air Freight Next International Forwarders is also important to us. The Air Freight Next International Forwarders will receive various additional trainings during the program, and they will be mentored by a Senior Leader within Air Freight, providing guidance and feedback and helping them to plan for their career.

· Participating in the onboarding tasks

· Familiarizing with Air Freight topics e.g. Product & Services, Operations, Route Development Management etc.

· Learn the Air Freight topics assigned by respective manager

· Join the meetings assigned by respective manager

· Participating in the respective assignments

· Joining the assigned trainings

Skills

• Excellent English communications skills is a must; other languages will be beneficial
• Extra-curricular activities demonstrating strong team/leadership experience, and ability to collaborate with colleagues and customers
• Good interpersonal and intercultural skills and the ability to work in a changing environment and with diverse working teams
• Inquisitive, willing to learn and accept new challenges and responsibilities; motivated towards career growth, learning, and development
• Independent, entrepreneurial mindset
• Full mobility and willingness to travel and stay in foreign countries (including China, Dubai, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, and USA) during multiple assignments abroad

Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent academic record in a relevant degree, including business/international business, logistics, and supply chain (GPA 3.0 minimum preferred) or equivalent experience
• Less than 2 years of relevant working experience in the logistics/freight forwarding industry
