Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic kitchen team in Singapore. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support senior chefs in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and cooking according to senior chefs’ instructions to ensure dish quality
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques accurately to support consistent food preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Manage inventory by assisting with stock rotation and monitoring supplies to reduce waste
• Communicate effectively in English to coordinate with team members in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen

Required competencies and certifications

• Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary qualification
• At least 1 year of experience working in a professional kitchen setting
• Strong knowledge and application of food safety and hygiene practices

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in languages other than English to enhance team communication and customer interaction
