Job Summary
The Crewing Associate is responsible for coordinating crew planning, mobilization, and deployment to support offshore and marine operations. The role ensures crew availability, compliance with project and regulatory requirements, travel arrangements, and timely crew rotation to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily crew planning, mobilization, demobilization, and rotation for offshore and marine projects.
- Ensure crew certifications, medical fitness, training records, and project requirements are valid and up to date.
- Prepare crew matrices and maintain crew documentation for project mobilization.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
- Manage crew registrations, including Offshore Safety Passport (OSP), Petronas Competency Card (CCC), TrackIT Shell, MobilizeMe, and other client systems.
- Support work permit and visa applications for domestic and international assignments, including Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei, and other overseas locations.
- Monitor crew movement, project schedules, and identify potential manpower gaps.
- Liaise with project teams, crew members, agents, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth crew operations.
- Maintain accurate crew records and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in crew management, offshore manning, marine logistics, or a related field.
- Experience supporting offshore vessel operations and project-based crew mobilization is preferred.
- Knowledge of offshore certifications, OSP, CCC, TrackIT Shell, work permits, visas, and immigration requirements is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating travel arrangements, accommodation, and crew logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with a high level of integrity.
Pay: Up to RM3,500.00 per month
