JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Architectural Leadership
- Lead and manage the Architectural Team.
- Review and approve architectural drawings before submission.
- Ensure consistency and technical quality across all architectural deliverables.
- Develop and maintain company drawing standards and QA/QC procedures.
Fire Compliance & Authority Submission
- Lead all Fire Compliance (JBPM) submissions.
- Review drawings to ensure compliance with:
- UBBL 1984
- JBPM Requirements
- Malaysian Standards (MS)
- JKR Guidelines
- Coordinate Passive Fire Protection and Active Fire Protection drawings.
- Liaise with JBPM, JKR, clients and consultants throughout the submission process.
- Address technical comments and coordinate revisions until approval is obtained.
Drawing Review & Technical Coordination
- Review Architectural, Structural and M&E drawings.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to eliminate drawing discrepancies.
- Ensure drawings are technically accurate, coordinated and submission-ready.
- Perform quality control on BIM models and construction drawings.
Project Management
- Manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously.
- Monitor project schedules, deliverables and technical milestones.
- Conduct technical meetings and provide project updates.
- Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed timeline and quality standards.
Site Coordination
- Attend site inspections and technical verification when required.
- Verify existing site conditions against drawings.
- Provide technical solutions during project execution.
Team Development
- Mentor Junior Architects, BIM Modelers and Drafters.
- Provide technical guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
REQUIREMENTSQualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Registered with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) Part II.
- LAM Part III is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in Government, Healthcare, Institutional or Commercial projects.
- Strong experience in Authority Submission and Fire Compliance (JBPM).
- Experience leading an architectural or technical team.
- Experience in BIM projects is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk Revit (BIM)
- Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of:
- UBBL 1984
- JBPM Requirements
- Malaysian Standards
- JKR Technical Guidelines
- Building Codes & Fire Safety Regulations

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
