Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for electro-mechanical components.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Oversee procurement processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to align procurement goals.
- Analyse market trends to support strategic sourcing decisions.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives where necessary.
A Successful Senior Manager Procurement (Direct Commodity) Should Have
- Strong expertise in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Experience in strategic sourcing and cost management.
- Familiarity with electro-mechanical components and market trends.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
- Annual salary between MYR 270000 and MYR 330000.
