The Manager is responsible for leading the hospital's enterprise risk management framework and corporate planning processes in support of senior leadership. The incumbent will ensure that risk management and strategic planning are well-integrated, while overseeing corporate governance, process innovation, and secretariat functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Risk Management
- Own the hospital's ERM process end-to-end, including maintaining the risk register, facilitating risk review sessions, and ensuring timely escalation and reporting to senior leadership and governance committees.
- Promote a risk-aware culture across the organisation, ensuring risk considerations are embedded in strategic planning and decision-making.
2. Strategic and Integrated Planning
- Lead the development and cascade of the hospital's strategic plans and Balanced Scorecard (BSC), and manage the annual Work Plan and enterprise planning cycle.
- Support the Senior Management Team in organising strategic retreats, planning offsites, and corporate communications including management townhalls and corporate reports.
3. Corporate Governance and Decision Support
- Oversee corporate secretariat functions, coordinate key management committee appointments, and develop corporate policies and guidelines aligned with governance frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement of corporate workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
4. Corporate Process Innovation
- Harness AI and digital tools to enhance corporate planning and risk management processes, and lead initiatives to redesign governance workflows in line with organisational needs.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on corporate planning and risk management matters, and support the coordination of VIP visits as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or above in healthcare administration, public policy, risk management, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare management, with a demonstrated track record in Enterprise Risk Management. Candidates with additional corporate planning experience will have a distinct advantage.
- Strong hands-on ERM experience, including familiarity with risk frameworks, risk registers, and risk reporting to senior leadership. Some exposure to corporate planning processes such as strategic planning cycles and balanced scorecards would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team in a collaborative and professional manner.
