Build the Foundation of a Next-Generation Quant Trading Firm in Singapore

Most infrastructure roles are about maintaining what already exists. This isn't one of them.

We're exclusively partnering with an ambitious quantitative trading technology start-up founded by one of the industry's most respected systematic trading leaders. They're looking for their first engineering hire - someone who wants to help build the firm's research and trading platform from the ground up.

If you're excited by ownership, technical freedom, and solving difficult infrastructure problems rather than operating someone else's platform, keep reading.

You'll work across:

• High-performance Linux infrastructure and HPC environments
• AWS cloud platforms and automation
• Python engineering and shell scripting
• Networking, storage and systems performance
• Security, reliability and platform engineering
• AI-assisted engineering workflows and developer tooling

You'll write code, build platforms, deploy solutions and continuously improve them alongside the people using them every day.

You'll likely have:

• Strong Linux systems engineering experience
• Excellent Python and Shell scripting skills
• Exposure to Cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of HPC, networking and security
• A passion for solving complex engineering problems
• A strong academic background with an impressive track record

Whether your experience comes from quantitative trading, technology, scientific computing or another high-performance engineering environment, what matters most is your technical curiosity, judgement and desire to build.
