1. Facilities Management
- Oversee daily building operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure building systems comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
2. Vendor and Contractor Coordination
- Liaise with and supervise third-party service providers (cleaning, security, maintenance).
- Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors.
3. Budget and Cost Control
- Prepare and manage the building's operating budget.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
4. Tenant/Resident Relations
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants/residents regarding building issues.
- Handle complaints, requests, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate tenant move-ins/move-outs and manage lease-related requirements.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety standards, and legal regulations.
- Implement emergency procedures and lead fire drills and safety training sessions.
6. Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records including maintenance logs, vendor contracts, and inspection reports.
- Prepare reports for property owners or senior management as required.
Requirements: Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property or facility management.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Fire Safety Certification
- Building Management Certification
- OSHA or other workplace safety certifications
