Atomic Events Global develops and produces consumer events across Singapore and the region.

Our portfolio includes Asia Cat Expo, Singapore Cat Festival, Singapore Dog Festival, Hobbies Fair, and a growing pipeline of original lifestyle event IPs connecting communities, brands, creators, sponsors, and audiences.

We are expanding across pet culture, hobbies, creative markets, youth culture, and family lifestyle experiences. Our goal is to build scalable event IPs combining strong programming, commercial partnerships, audience communities, data, and memorable on-ground experiences.

The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager, Consumer Events to take ownership of the planning and delivery of assigned events.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore.

You will translate event concepts and commercial commitments into clear project plans. You will manage timelines, budgets, venues, vendors, floorplans, permits, operational readiness, onsite execution, and post-event closure.

You will be the central project owner, ensuring internal teams and external stakeholders understand what must be delivered, by whom, and by when.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Management
  • Own assigned projects from internal handover to post-event closure.
  • Develop project timelines, workback schedules, critical paths, and milestone trackers.
  • Break event concepts into clear deliverables, owners, deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Lead project meetings and track decisions, actions, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate sales, marketing, sponsorship, programming, design, operations, and finance teams.
  • Identify delays, resource gaps, risks, and approval bottlenecks early.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, budget, risks, and decisions required.
  • Manage project cut-off dates and late-stage change requests.
Event Operations and Logistics
  • Develop the operational plan for each event.
  • Coordinate venue access, floorplans, exhibitor zones, activity areas, storage, loading, power, furniture, signage, security, cleaning, waste management, and crowd flow.
  • Plan build-up, show-day, and teardown schedules with venues, contractors, vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate exhibitor and vendor onboarding, including manuals, forms, deadlines, move-in instructions, and technical requirements.
  • Ensure operational information is accurately documented and communicated.
  • Conduct readiness checks before the event opens.
  • Manage outdoor-event requirements where applicable, including weather contingencies, temporary structures, utilities, and site protection.
Floorplan and Space Management
  • Coordinate floorplans with sales, operations, programming, sponsorship, venues, and production partners.
  • Ensure layouts support visitor flow, safety, commercial requirements, sponsor visibility, exhibitor needs, and programming.
  • Maintain clear floorplan version control.
  • Manage booth changes, activation spaces, operational areas, and layout amendments.
  • Identify space conflicts, congestion points, and technical limitations before production.
Vendor and Contractor Management
  • Source, brief, evaluate, and coordinate suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
  • Prepare clear scopes of work and compare quotations.
  • Track production deadlines, technical requirements, artwork submissions, installations, and deliveries.
  • Ensure suppliers meet agreed quality, safety, venue, and timeline requirements.
  • Conduct supplier briefings and readiness checks.
  • Manage contractor performance and resolve delivery issues onsite.
  • Review completed work before project close-out and invoice processing.
Exhibitor, Sponsor and Stakeholder Coordination
  • Act as the central operational contact for exhibitors, sponsors, partners, venues, agencies, and suppliers.
  • Convert sponsor and partner commitments into delivery checklists.
  • Coordinate booth placement, branding, activations, hospitality, access, tickets, and programme involvement.
  • Work with commercial teams to ensure commitments are operationally feasible and properly delivered.
  • Manage exhibitor requirements including booth setup, utilities, loading access, insurance, and operating guidelines.
  • Escalate changes affecting cost, safety, timeline, visitor experience, or contractual obligations.
Programme Coordination
  • Coordinate operational requirements for stages, workshops, talks, performances, competitions, demonstrations, and activities.
  • Work with programme owners on schedules, technical requirements, manpower, holding areas, and contingency plans.
  • Integrate programme requirements into floorplans and visitor-flow plans.
  • Coordinate onsite arrangements for speakers, performers, judges, creators, and activity partners.
  • Identify programme conflicts, technical risks, and operational dependencies in advance.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Coordinate permits, licences, insurance documents, venue submissions, risk assessments, and regulatory approvals.
  • Ensure relevant electrical, structural, fire-safety, crowd-management, food and beverage, animal-related, and workplace-safety requirements are addressed.
  • Maintain an event risk register and mitigation plans.
  • Develop contingencies for weather, supplier failure, overcrowding, technical issues, medical incidents, and programme delays.
  • Maintain organised documentation for approvals, inspections, incidents, and future reference.
Budget and Cost Management
  • Track operational costs within approved project budgets.
  • Maintain records for quotations, purchase orders, committed costs, variations, invoices, and projected expenditure.
  • Recommend suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and suitability.
  • Identify cost savings without compromising safety or event quality.
  • Flag potential overruns early and recommend corrective action.
  • Prevent avoidable costs caused by late orders, unclear specifications, duplicated work, or last-minute changes.
  • Support post-event financial reconciliation.
Onsite Event Leadership
  • Lead operational execution during move-in, build-up, event days, and teardown.
  • Conduct briefings for staff, contractors, suppliers, and temporary manpower.
  • Coordinate venue teams, exhibitors, sponsors, programme partners, and service providers.
  • Maintain a clear onsite command and escalation structure.
  • Resolve issues involving layouts, vendors, queues, visitor flow, utilities, exhibitors, and programming.
  • Maintain incident and issue logs.
  • Oversee teardown, venue reinstatement, and final handover.
Post-Event Closure
  • Consolidate operational results, feedback, incidents, sponsor deliverables, and improvement points.
  • Conduct post-event reviews with internal teams.
  • Support reporting for management, sponsors, exhibitors, venues, and partners.
  • Review supplier invoices, variations, claims, and contractor close-outs.
  • Convert lessons learned into improved SOPs, templates, checklists, and workflows.
  • Maintain organised project records for future editions.
Qualifications and ExperienceRequired
  • At least 4–6 years of relevant experience in event project management, event operations, exhibitions, festivals, venue operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience independently managing significant events or major operational workstreams.
  • Strong ability to manage timelines, budgets, vendors, floorplans, documentation, and multiple dependencies.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organisation, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and calm decision-making under pressure.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how operational decisions affect cost, revenue, and customer experience.
  • Comfortable working onsite, including weekends, public holidays, and extended hours during event periods.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and project-management tools.
Preferred
  • Experience in consumer events, exhibitions, festivals, lifestyle markets, trade shows, pop-up retail, or ticketed public events.
  • Experience managing large visitor volumes, multiple zones, complex programming, or more than 100 exhibitors.
  • Familiarity with major Singapore exhibition, convention, mall, hotel, or outdoor venues.
  • Experience working with exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, contractors, and temporary manpower.
  • Knowledge of event permits, licensing, insurance, safety, and compliance processes.
  • Experience in pet, lifestyle, hobbies, creative, food, youth, or family-oriented events.
  • Diploma or degree in Event Management, Business, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore.

The role requires flexibility during peak event periods, including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, late nights, build-up, event days, and teardown.
