We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer who is passionate about geotechnical engineering and enjoys solving complex ground engineering challenges.
In this role, you will be responsible for geotechnical investigations, foundation design, slope stability analysis, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, consultants, and contractors, you will play a key role in delivering safe, practical, and innovative engineering solutions that meet project objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out geotechnical engineering design and analysis for infrastructure and industrial projects.
- Perform site investigations, foundation design, slope stability assessments, and earth retention system design.
- Review soil investigation reports, geological data, laboratory test results, and engineering calculations.
- Coordinate with Civil, Structural, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated engineering solutions.
- Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections, foundation works, excavation, and geotechnical troubleshooting.
- Review contractor submissions, technical reports, and engineering calculations for compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant local and international standards, codes, and HSE requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers where required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering within engineering consultancy, EPC/EPCM, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Strong experience in site investigation, foundation design, slope stability, excavation support systems, and geotechnical risk assessment.
- Proficient in PLAXIS, GEO5, SLOPE/W, gINT, LPILE, AutoCAD, or equivalent geotechnical software.
- Good understanding of local and international geotechnical design codes and engineering standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects will be an added advantage.
