Building Chargeman (A4)

Salary

RM3,500 – RM4,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)

Job Location

Subang / Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect the electrical substation and monitor incoming power supply.
• Ensure all LV substation equipment is in good working condition.
• Conduct routine inspections of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and equipment.
• Supervise Electrical Technicians and Wiremen in carrying out daily maintenance and repair works.
• Perform weekly test runs of generator sets.
• Ensure periodic calibration and maintenance of bus ducts (risers).
• Monitor and supervise M&E maintenance contracts and service providers.
• Review and supervise M&E renovation works by unit owners and tenants to ensure compliance with building renovation guidelines.
• Assist in obtaining quotations and coordinating the appointment of contractors for repair and maintenance works.
• Monitor and maintain the building access card system, including doors, lifts, and car park access, and program access cards when required.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Chargeman A4 Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (ST).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or property management.
• Knowledge of LV electrical systems, substations, generators, and M&E services.
• Able to supervise technicians, wiremen, and external contractors.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
