Job Description

Responsibilities

We are hiring a System & Control Manager for a leading data centre organization in Johor.

The successful candidate will lead the management, governance, and reliability of all system and control platforms supporting mission-critical data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Building Management System (BMS), Cooling Plant Operating System (CPOS), Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM), Control & Instrumentation, and NOC operations.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of all system platforms.
  • Lead system design reviews, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve critical system incidents.
  • Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgeting for system operations.
  • Oversee system upgrades, change management, and asset lifecycle planning.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers while ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Monitor KPIs related to uptime, energy efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Lead and develop the System & Control team.
  • Support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control, or Building Services Engineering.
  • 8–12 years of experience in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or industrial control environments.
  • Strong experience with:
  • Building Management System (BMS)
  • DCIM
  • CPOS
  • PLC/SCADA
  • CMMS
  • Control & Instrumentation
  • Experience managing technical teams and vendors.
  • Knowledge of alarm management, monitoring systems, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics tools is an advantage.
  • Willing to support a 24/7 critical environment when required.
