JOB DESCRIPTION
Identify and manage common, consumable, and critical spare parts for active machines.
Source and localize spare parts by collaborating with procurement and qualified local workshops.
Establish and maintain partnerships with local suppliers and workshops to support parts localization.
Manage spare parts pricing, inventory levels, and dead stock to ensure cost-effective operations.
Monitor localized parts performance, maintain accurate records, and report cost savings and improvement opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or a related field).
Minimum 5 years of experience in machine manufacturing, workshops, or spare parts management.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts, with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented, well-organised, and Mandarin proficiency is an advantage to liaise with suppliers in China.
