Job description

1. Incoming Inspection
- Perform inspection of incoming raw materials and components against specifications and drawings.
- Verify supplier documentation (certificates of conformance, test reports).
- Record and report non-conforming materials; initiate rejection or hold processes.
- Maintain incoming inspection records and traceability documentation.

2. In-Process Inspection
- Conduct in-process inspections at defined checkpoints during manufacturing.
- Verify dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and workmanship to engineering drawings.
- Monitor process parameters and alert production of any deviations.
- Document inspection results and support real-time quality feedback to operators.

3. Final Inspection & Testing
- Perform final inspection of finished products before shipment.
- Verify products meet customer specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
- Complete inspection reports, certificates of conformance, and shipping documentation.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling compliance.

4. Measurement & Metrology
- Operate precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, vision systems).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and specifications.
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) and document results.
- Ensure measurement equipment is calibrated and properly maintained.

5. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate inspection records in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Complete inspection checklists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality logs.
- Support traceability and documentation audits.

6. Quality Support Activities
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities when required.
- Support internal audits and customer audits as needed.
- Communicate quality issues to supervisors and Quality Engineers.
- Assist in calibration activities and equipment maintenance.

Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,800.00 per month
