We design, manufacture, and install high-quality, cost-effective turnkey solutions—including Robotic Systems, Intralogistics Smart Warehousing, ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), AGVs/AMRs, and Ultrasonic Cleaning systems. As we accelerate the transition of Malaysian industries into Industry 4.0, we are seeking a dynamic, technically savvy Sales Engineer to drive our business growth.


About the Role

As a Sales Engineer focusing on factory assembly and automation, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering concepts and commercial business solutions. You will be responsible for identifying B2B market opportunities within the manufacturing sector, understanding their production bottlenecks, and presenting XTS’s cutting-edge assembly and robotic integration systems.

  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing c

  • Surveys: Visit client factories to assess shop floor layouts and understand their production and assembly automation needs.Techn
  • ical Consultation: Provide technical consultation and recommendations based on customer requirements and enquiries.Propo
  • sals & Pitching: Collaborate with our internal engineering team to prepare technical proposals, quotations, and present solutions (conveyors, robotic cells, assembly lines) to clients.Opera
  • tions Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction.Relat
  • ionship Management: Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and follow up on project handovers.



    • Job Requirements

    • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
    • Candidates without a relevant degree must demonstrate equivalent industry experience.
    • 1–3 years of experience in technical B2B sales, preferably in factory assembly automation, industrial robotics, or conveyor systems.
    • Ability to read basic technical drawings (AutoCAD/SolidWorks layout is a plus). Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
    • Willingness to travel as required.
