Role Description The Bar Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This role oversees daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service, proper staffing, and adherence to brand standards. Responsibilities include supervising bar team members, coordinating shift schedules, and supporting inventory management and ordering. The Bar Supervisor also ensures high-quality beverage preparation, maintains cleanliness and safety standards, and addresses guest inquiries or concerns promptly. The role involves training and coaching team members, promoting a positive work environment, and working closely with other food and beverage outlets to deliver a consistent guest experience.
Qualifications
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience leading and motivating food and beverage teams.
  • Proven customer service abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction and personalized hospitality.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar service, menu offerings, and basic mixology.
  • Experience in training and coaching staff to maintain standards and improve performance.
  • Previous experience in hotel or restaurant bar operations is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in food and beverage environments.
  • Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
