About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead the production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets, quality, delivery, safety, and productivity requirements are consistently achieved. This role requires someone who is comfortable working directly on the production floor, managing manpower, monitoring production performance, troubleshooting operational issues, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to achieve production schedules, output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop production operators and team leaders.
• Manage manpower deployment, shift allocation, attendance, and leave planning according to production requirements.
• Monitor production performance, productivity, downtime, waste, quality, and other key production KPIs.
• Coordinate machine setup, changeovers, production start-ups, and troubleshooting activities.
• Identify production bottlenecks, resource constraints, and operational issues, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and production resources.
• Ensure production activities comply with SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Investigate production quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Promote and maintain good housekeeping, 5S, workplace safety, and a positive production environment.
• Work closely with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Execute production and capacity plans to meet customer demand and delivery requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, Six Sigma, and OEE improvement.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in production.
• Strong hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, production processes, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience managing production operators and/or team leaders.
• Experience in production planning, manpower planning, capacity management, and achieving production targets.
• Strong understanding of production KPIs such as output, productivity, efficiency, downtime, waste, quality, and OEE.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using ERP/MES systems is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Results-oriented with strong ownership and accountability for production performance.
• Willing to work hands-on in a manufacturing/production environment.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
