- Preparing the treatment room before each patient arrives.

- Sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment.

- Assisting the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and suctioning.

- Preparing dental materials, such as fillings, impressions, or cements.

- Taking and developing dental X-rays (where permitted and qualified).

- Ensuring infection prevention and cross-contamination control procedures are followed.

- Reassuring and supporting patients before, during, and after treatment.

- Recording patient information and updating dental records.

- Scheduling appointments and handling administrative tasks, if required.

- Providing patients with oral hygiene advice and post-treatment care instructions.

- Monitoring stock levels and ordering dental supplies.

- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
