Contract: 12 months | convert to permanent subject to performance review and business requirements

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, Wi-Fi, workstations, printers, and system integrations to ensure reliable and secure operations. Ensures high availability and optimal performance of mission-critical systems such as ticketing, POS, access control, turnstiles, and CCTV integration, minimizing downtime and supporting seamless Guest experiences. Oversee system upgrades, patch deployments, and lifecycle management of IT assets to maintain system integrity, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Own the stability and integration of ticketing platforms (online, onsite, OTA), POS systems, and payment gateways, ensuring seamless operation across all revenue channels. Work closely with Finance to ensure revenue accuracy, maintain system controls, and preserve clear audit trails for all transactions. Support daily system reconciliation processes, investigating discrepancies related to system issues and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies, access controls, and data protection measures to safeguard organizational systems and information. Monitor cybersecurity risks, identifying system vulnerabilities, and support incident response procedures to mitigate potential threats. Ensures compliance with company IT policies, data privacy requirements, and audit standards, maintaining a secure and resilient technology environment.
  • Manage IT vendors, service providers, and system integrators to ensure reliable support and timely delivery of services. Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and maintenance agreements in alignment with budget and financial controls, securing favorable terms for the organization. Monitor vendor performance ensuring value for money and addressing any service gaps or compliance issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and manage the IT operating and capital expenditure budget, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and organizational financial objectives. Track IT costs, including software licenses, maintenance fees, and support contracts, monitoring actuals against budget to identify variances. Provides regular IT cost and performance reports to the Director of Finance & HR, delivering accurate and timely insights to support informed decision-making and financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure organizational resilience against system disruptions. Conduct regular system backups, failover testing, and recovery drills to validate the effectiveness of recovery procedures. Ensure minimal downtime during system failures or peak operation periods, safeguarding Guest experiences and revenue-generating activities through rapid restoration of critical systems.
  • Support frontline operations to ensure a seamless Guest journey with minimal technological disruption across all touchpoints. Provide on-site IT support during peak periods, major events, and soft opening phases, ensuring systems remain operational when demand is highest. Provide training on proper system usage and IT best practices, empowering team members to utilize technology effectively and reduce user-related issues.
  • Maintain IT SOPs, system documentation, network diagrams, and asset registers, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up to date. Support internal and external audits by providing required IT documentation and responding to audit queries in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with financial controls, approval matrices, and governance frameworks, verifying that IT operations adhere to established policies and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • 4+ years of IT experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or lead role.
  • Experience in hospitality, attractions, theme parks, retail or high-traffic venues is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, POS, access control and payment gateways is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems integration and cybersecurity.
  • Financial acumen with ability to manage budgets and justify IT investments.
  • Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
  • Vendor negotiation and contract management capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure during live operations and peak periods.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High integrity and attention to system and data controls.
  • Certified IT Specialist
