As we expand across Malaysia and the region, we're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance, while partnering with management to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company's full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations and general ledger functions.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare analysis on revenue, profitability, costs and business performance.
- Generate and maintain sales and financial reports across retail, e-commerce and corporate sales channels.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and government authorities.
- Support budgeting, financial planning and internal process improvements.
- Assist management with financial analysis and business decision-making.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with experience handling a full set of accounts.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables and financial analysis.
- Experience with accounting software such as AutoCount or similar accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
