Role Description The Sales Advisor Proton e.Mas is a full-time, on-site role based at the Bandar Baru Bangi dealership. The role involves engaging with walk-in and online prospects, conducting needs assessments, and recommending suitable Proton vehicles and financing options. The Sales Advisor will manage test drives, prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and support customers through the purchase and delivery process. Daily responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge on Proton models and e.Mas offerings, updating customer records, and meeting individual and team sales targets. The role also requires collaborating with colleagues on showroom activities, participating in promotional events, and providing consistent, professional customer service before and after sales.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain product features and offers clearly.
  • Customer service skills focused on delivering responsive, courteous, and solution-oriented support.
  • Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Training skills to absorb product knowledge quickly and share information with customers and team members.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is an advantage.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems for tracking leads and customer information.
  • Ability to work on-site, including weekends or public holidays as required by showroom operations.
  • Minimum qualification of SPM or equivalent; higher education in business or related fields is beneficial.
  • Valid driving license and confidence in conducting test drives with customers.
