A retail operations manager in a money exchange business

oversees daily branch activities, ensures strict compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and local financial regulations, manages cash inventory and foreign currency rates, and leads frontline staff across multiple store locations to hit financial targets

Oversee the daily operations of retail outlets to ensure smooth business operations.

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and business strategies.

Monitor sales performance and achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Manage store managers and retail staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively.

Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and supplier coordination.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant Singapore regulations.

Prepare operational reports, sales analysis, budgets, and forecasts for management.

Plan and execute promotional campaigns and marketing activities to increase sales.

Improve operational efficiency, cost control, and productivity across all retail locations.

Coordinate with finance, HR, procurement, and logistics departments to support business operations.

Identify business opportunities and recommend strategies for business growth.

Supervision:

Control daily workflows, open and close procedures, and customer service standards across retail outlets.

Compliance & Security:

Enforce Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols, report suspicious transactions, and follow Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) or regional financial rules

Cash & Rate Management:

Monitor foreign currency inventory, coordinate cash logistics, and adjust retail exchange rates based on market trends.

Staff Leadership:

Hire, train, and schedule cashiers and branch supervisors while tracking individual and store sales performance

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of financial audits, cross-border remittance rules, and AML compliance.

Multi-Site Experience: Proven history running retail networks, preferably in fintech, banking, or foreign exchange.
