The Sales Assistant supports the daily operations of the mini mart by providing excellent customer service, handling sales transactions, and ensuring proper stocking and display of goods. The role requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle cashier duties including billing, payments, and issuing receipts
• Replenish stock on shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
• Monitor product expiry dates and ensure stock rotation (FIFO method)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Assist in receiving and checking incoming stock deliveries
• Ensure price tags and labels are accurate and updated
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic issues
• Support daily opening and closing of the store
• Report low stock levels and assist in stock-taking activities
