Responsibilities

Job Title: Industrial Method Engineer

Job Location : Loyang , near Pasir Ris 
Industry : Aerospace /Aviation

Objective

Support the development and implementation of new repair and production capabilities by designing, validating and improving manufacturing processes, tooling and industrial methods while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, safety and quality standards.

Job Duties

1. Industrialisation & Capability Development

  • Lead the industrialisation of new repair and production capabilities from feasibility study to operational implementation.
  • Coordinate with Central Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure successful capability deployment.
  • Review technical manuals, engineering data and regulatory requirements to support capability readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety and quality standards.

2. Process Engineering & Documentation

  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions and industrial documentation.
  • Conduct process validation, trials, capability studies and First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • Maintain engineering documents and ensure proper change control for processes, tooling and documentation.

3. Tooling & Equipment

  • Define and support the procurement, installation and qualification of tooling, fixtures and production equipment.
  • Support commissioning, maintenance and continuous improvement of industrial equipment.
  • Introduce automation and new technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency.

4. Continuous Improvement

  • Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and process efficiency.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
  • Standardise industrial methods and implement best practices across operations.

5. Project & Business Support

  • Prepare feasibility studies, business cases and ROI analyses for new capabilities and equipment investments.
  • Support project planning and collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Mechatronics or related Engineering.

2–3 years’ experience in Industrialisation, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or similar roles within aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.

Knowledge of aviation regulations (Part-145), manufacturing processes l, process validation and industrial documentation.

Experience in developing work instructions, routings (MBOM), tooling and manufacturing processes.

Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, QRQC, 8D and problem-solving methodologies.

Good project coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to perform feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis and support business case development.
