We are looking for a motivated Junior Marine HVAC Technician who is eager to build a long-term career in the marine industry. Fresh graduates with a strong technical background are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and repairing marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment onboard vessels.
- Assist with leak testing, nitrogen pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and system commissioning.
- Support servicing of compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling towers, pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Assist in electrical troubleshooting of motors, contactors, relays, sensors, and control circuits.
- Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
- Maintain workshop tools, testing instruments, and equipment.
- Follow company safety procedures and customer requirements.
- Attend vessels at Singapore ports, anchorages, shipyards, and overseas when required.
Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in:
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Mechanical Engineering
- Marine Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration principles and electrical troubleshooting.
- Willing to learn and work in a marine environment.
- Able to work overtime and respond to emergency vessel attendances when required.
- Physically fit and comfortable working onboard ships and in shipyards.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a good team player.
- Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, or candidates eligible to work in Singapore are preferred.
