In recent years DEUTZ has evolved from a manufacturer of conventional engines into a system provider for innovative and sustainable mobility and energy solutions. DEUTZ solutions are used in a wide range of applications, including construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling equipment such as forklift trucks and lifting platforms, stationary equipment such as generator sets (gensets) and defense applications.

We are looking for a motivated and analytical individual to support our Strategy team for Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa in driving strategic initiatives across the region. This is a hands-on role with real exposure to corporate strategy, M&A, and market intelligence at a global industrial company.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting market research and competitive analysis across the regional markets, including country-level sizing, growth trends, and opportunity assessments in the off-highway and industrial engine sectors
• Supporting M&A and partnership evaluation activities, including financial analysis, company profiling, and due diligence preparation
• Preparing executive-level presentations, strategy documents, and board-ready reports for senior leadership and regional management
• Building and maintaining financial models and KPI dashboards to track regional business performance and support data-driven decision-making
• Assisting in the development of market entry strategies for new geographies, including regulatory landscape analysis, go-to-market concepts, and scenario planning
• Supporting strategic partnership development with key regional distributors, OEM partners, and government stakeholders through research, briefing materials, and follow-up coordination
• Monitoring macroeconomic, geopolitical, and industry trends across the region to provide timely strategic intelligence to the regional team
• Contributing to cross-functional projects in areas such as AI strategy and digitalization, including the use of modern analytics and visualization tools
• Collaborating closely with operations, product management and local entities to translate strategic initiatives into actionable implementation plans
