Key Responsibilities:

•        Assist in the design and development of interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, ensuring alignment with business requirements and user needs.

•        Perform data exploration, profiling, and validation to understand data structures, quality, and relationships across airport operational, customer, and financial data domains.

•        Support data preparation and transformation activities, including data cleansing, aggregation, and modelling using SQL and Power Query.

•        Collaborate with senior data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements, iterate on dashboard prototypes, and incorporate feedback into final deliverables.

•        Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, dashboard specifications, and user guides.

•        Conduct unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure dashboard accuracy, performance, and reliability.

•        Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, providing progress updates and flagging risks or blockers.

•        Support the deployment of dashboards to production environments and provide post-go-live troubleshooting and maintenance.

•        Stay current with Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

•        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline.

•        Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in data analysis, visualisation, or business intelligence, with demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and SQL.

•        Experience in creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

•        Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (star schema, dimensional modelling) and DAX fundamentals.

•        Familiarity with data preparation and transformation using Power Query or similar ETL tools.

•        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

•        Good communication skills in English (written and spoken); Cantonese proficiency is an advantage.

•        Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

•        Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent certification.

•        Experience with Azure data services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics) or Databricks.

•        Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and scripting.

•        Experience with Tableau, UiPath, or Dataiku is a plus.

•        Exposure to airport, aviation, logistics, or critical infrastructure environments.

•        Experience working in an Agile or Scrum delivery framework.
