What You'll Be Doing
The Assistant Manager, Global Communications will play a key role in supporting the planning, development, and execution of consumer-facing communications across Plaza Premium Group’s global markets. This position combines hands-on delivery with strong ownership of workstreams, requiring the ability to independently manage communications projects while supporting the Senior Manager in broader strategic and operational priorities.
The role is responsible for shaping compelling storytelling that strengthens brand awareness, drives engagement, and supports commercial objectives across PPG’s global portfolio. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organised, digitally savvy, and confident working in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day execution of communications plans and campaigns aligned with global brand direction and local market needs
Manage assigned communications workstreams independently, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations are met
Create and adapt consumer-facing content for multiple channels, including website, social media, CRM, partner platforms, in-lounge channels, and campaign materials
Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with Plaza Premium Group’s brand voice, values, and communication guidelines
Work closely with regional and country teams to localise content while maintaining global standards
Draft, edit, proofread, and refine copy for campaigns, press materials, brand communications, presentations, and other consumer-facing assets
Support media relations activities, including media monitoring, media list maintenance, pitching support, interview coordination, and response to media enquiries
Help develop story angles, editorial calendars, campaign narratives, and content plans that support brand visibility and audience engagements
Collaborate with Digital, Brand, Loyalty, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure communications support traffic, conversion, awareness, and core objectives
Support the Senior Manager in planning and executing launch communications for new products, new locations, partnerships, and pre-opening activities
Coordinate PR events, press visits, consumer activations, partnership launches, and promotional activities
Maintain brand and communications guidelines, templates, and toolkits for internal and regional use
Track campaign performance and compile reports on media coverage, content performance, and audience engagement
Contribute ideas for thought leadership, brand campaigns, editorial features, and creative storytelling opportunities
Provide support to the Senior Manager on regional team coordination, campaign planning, reporting, and cross-functional communications as needed

Maintain consistency of tone, voice, and messaging across all touchpoints
Demonstrate ownership of assigned projects while providing dependable support to the Senior Manager on broader initiatives
Provide practical communication tools and clear content guidance to regional teams
Contribute to the successful execution of integrated campaigns and launches through proactive coordination and follow-through
Help deliver measurable awareness, engagement, and conversion through well-executed content and communication initiative
What You'll Need
Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Experience in communications, public relations, content marketing, or brand communications
Good understanding of media relations and consumer storytelling
Strong project management and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-moving environment
Digital fluency across social media, web, CRM, and campaign channels
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions and markets
Detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive, and solutions-focused
Comfortable working independently while also supporting a global team structure
Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Able to support senior stakeholders with coordination, execution, and follow-through on key communications priorities
Preferred Qualifications
5–7 years of relevant experience in communications, PR, content, or marketing; experience in hospitality, travel, aviation, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands preferred
Familiarity with global, regional, or multi-market communications
Exposure to content performance tracking, media reporting, or campaign analytics
Experience supporting senior managers or leading small workstreams independently
