Westpoint Transit is looking for a Motor Vehicle Technician to join our growing team, who will be in charge of performing vehicle repairs and maintenance of our fleet. We are open to hiring junior-level candidates as well, so fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience are welcome.

The scope of work of this role will be as follows:

Perform vehicle repairs (Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, etc.) including:

• Conduct daily service maintenance on vehicles (Diesel Engine and Electric Vehicle);
• Troubleshoot issues highlighted by vehicle drivers and provide recommendations;
• Perform maintenance and checks in adherence with parts’/vehicles’ Warranty Process and Procedures;
• Conduct visual checks on cleanliness of vehicle, including state of fixtures such as glass panels/windows/windscreen, seats, seatbelts, etc.;
• Overhaul of vehicles;
• Identifying of recommended spare parts for vehicle fleet;
• Ensure genuine parts replacement and service according to checklists and scope of work including putting up purchase orders for required spare parts;
• Able to log and record all work / maintenance performed on vehicles via company’s fleet maintenance system;
• Report all work-related status to Senior Technician, including all repair progress and requirements;Complete in a timely manner all duties assigned;
• Maintain a clean and organized work bay;
• Be responsible for safe handling and using tools and equipment;
• Conduct welding, fabrication, and metalwork as needed.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,800.00 per month
