Position : Technical Writer

Salary : RM 3,500 - RM 6,000

Location : Uptown Damansara, PJ

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation to support our products and services. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and customer support teams to gather technical information and translate it into accessible content for various audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit high-quality technical documentation including:

- User manuals

- API documentation

- Installation guides

- Standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Release notes and knowledge base articles

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information.
• Organize and maintain internal documentation libraries.
• Review and edit content created by other teams for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to the company’s style guide and industry standards.
• Participate in product meetings and demos to stay current with product features and updates.
• Manage documentation projects from concept through publication.
• Recommend improvements to existing documentation processes and tools.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical writing, preferably within a software/IT environment, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, clear, and concise language.
• Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, and versioning.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#) for API documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
