We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Cum Admin to join our branch office. This role is responsible for supporting the branch's day-to-day accounting operations while providing administrative support to ensure smooth business operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Office Finance team to maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and ensure timely submission of accounting documents.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Duties
- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions for the branch.
- Prepare and process Payment Vouchers (PV), official receipts, invoices, and other accounting documents.
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Assist in e-Invoicing preparation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including following up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and maintain proper supporting documentation.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, accounting schedules, and supporting documents to the Head Office Finance Department within the stipulated timeline.
- Ensure all accounting records are complete, accurate, and properly filed for audit purposes.
- Liaise with the Head Office Finance Department on accounting matters and financial reporting requirements.
Administrative Duties
- Provide general administrative support to the Branch Manager and valuation team.
- Maintain and organize client files, valuation reports, contracts, and other office documents.
- Assist in preparing quotations, engagement letters, invoices, and correspondence.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries professionally.
- Coordinate courier services, office supplies, and general office administration.
- Maintain proper filing systems for both administrative and accounting documents.
- Perform other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in accounting or administrative functions. Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and e-Invoicing will be an added advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Able to work independently while maintaining close coordination with the Head Office Finance team.
- Meticulous, responsible, and able to meet reporting deadlines.
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
