About The Job.

In this role, you will oversee core accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and cash flow updates.
• Manage local sales and service tax submissions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate inventory reconciliations, periodic stock takes, and fixed asset registers.
• Assist with financial audits and maintain communication with external auditors, bankers, and tax authorities.
• Conduct financial evaluations to support operational decisions and process efficiency initiatives.
  
  

Skills And Experience Required.

• Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field, with professional credentials considered an asset.
• 3 to 5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in trading, logistics, or manufacturing sectors.
• Working knowledge of local reporting standards, tax compliance, and month-end closing processes.
• Proficiency in utilizing enterprise resource planning systems and spreadsheet tools.
• Effective organisational skills with the capacity to meet strict reporting deadlines across teams.
