Role Description The Desktop Publishing Specialist is a full-time role based in Bukit Mertajam with a onsite arrangement,. This role is responsible for preparing, formatting, and finalizing packaging artwork and using desktop publishing and graphic design tools. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating layouts for product packaging, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and print specifications. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and clients to refine designs, manage revisions, and ensure files are pre-press ready. The role also involves maintaining design templates, organizing digital assets, and supporting continuous improvement in visual communication and brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Desktop Publishing and Graphics for preparing print-ready artwork and packaging files.
• Candidates should possess skills in Graphic Design and Corporate Identity to ensure brand consistency across packaging
• Proficiency with industry-standard design and DTP software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or equivalent) is beneficial.
• Attention to detail, understanding of print processes and color management, and the ability to meet deadlines are important.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are desirable.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, and experience in packaging or printing environments are advantageous.
