• Maintaining relationships with vendors, including negotiating contracts and reviewing contracts for legal compliance. Reviewing purchase orders and
• Ensuring that they are in line with company policies & procedures.
• Analyzing costs & recommending ways to reduce expenses by identifying opportunities for process improvement or technology enhancement.
• Recommending new suppliers and negotiating supplier contracts to ensure that all terms are met.
• Preparing reports on expenditures and analyzing trends in spending to identify areas of potential waste or abuse.
• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers who can meet the company’s needs.
• Negotiating contract terms with vendors, including price, delivery schedule, and payment terms
• Following up with vendors to ensure that orders are delivered on time and within budget parameters and ensure that orders are processed correctly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing role
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
• Preferably at least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge and familiar of relevant procurement terms conditions, practices and procedures would be an added advantage.
• Confident negotiator with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong and positive mindset, independent and proactive personnel.
• Willing to work overtime upon required.
• Preferably for candidate that can work as soon as possible.
• Ability to multi-task, meet critical deadlines and able to work under pressure.
