Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document payroll business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA Payroll solutions.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best practices aligned with payroll business processes and solution design principles.
  • Configure and support SAP Payroll components including payroll schemas, payroll rules, wage types, payroll processing activities, and payroll control processes.
  • Prepare and maintain functional specifications, business process flows, configuration documents, test scripts, and other project deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Integration, and Technical teams to design, build, and deploy payroll solutions.
  • Support integrations between SAP Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party applications.
  • Participate in data migration activities including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, mock conversions, and cutover readiness activities.
  • Develop and execute test scenarios, support SIT/UAT, payroll parallel runs, and coordinate defect tracking and resolution.
  • Facilitate workshops, solution walkthroughs, design reviews, and stakeholder discussions to obtain requirement alignment and solution sign-off.
  • Support cutover planning, deployment activities, go-live execution, and post-go-live hypercare support.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies related to payroll processes and system implementation.
  • Ensure payroll solutions comply with business requirements, statutory regulations, audit controls, and organizational standards.



Required Skills & Experience

  • :Strong hands-on experience in SAP Payroll configuration and support
  • .Good exposure to SAP S/4HANA Payroll and payroll transformation projects
  • .Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central integration
  • .Knowledge of payroll schemas, payroll rules, wage types, payroll processing cycles, retro calculations, and payroll reconciliation
  • .Experience in payroll testing, parallel payroll runs, and defect management
  • .Understanding of payroll data migration and cutover activities
  • .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • .Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • .Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualification

  • s:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Systems, or a related disciplin
  • e.SAP Payroll certification is an added advantag
  • e.Experience in large enterprise or multinational SAP environments is preferre
