Job Description

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

  • Execute offshore installation & commissioning and/or decommissioning & demobilisation of an FPS/FPSO/FSO from preparation work until completion of offshore installation scope and handover to operation team.
  • Supervise and monitor to ensure the offshore campaign work is proficiently managed and successfully completed within schedule and approved budget, meet the contractual requirements and specifications and achieve MISC Offshore’ business objectives and client, class and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare reports, feedback on daily activities during offshore program as well ensuring safety and quality requirements are maintained at all times.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Pre Award Activities

  • Execution of pre-award work for installation/ demobilization/ decommissioning campaign
  • Develop scope of work (SOW) for installation/demobilization work
  • Participate in tender evaluation (Technical/Commercial Evaluation)

Offshore Installation Management – Documentation

  • Develop, review and manage contractor’s performance of work of detailed procedures, engineering deliverables, method statements and task planned offshore.
  • Monitoring, control and review accuracy of documentation and deliverable
  • Monitor deliverables and report on progress
  • Interface in the development of engineering scopes of work
  • Support and assist in the work of the Integration Engineer;
  • Assist in the resolution of disputes with Client and Contractor
  • Produce recommendations for improvements

Offshore Installation Management – Execution

  • Site verification on plan and coordination of Offshore Installation/decommissioning Campaign for offshore assets/facilities. Control and monitor progress of the execution of offshore installation.
  • Interface with contractors preparation and operation
  • Verification data and work onsite with external party
  • Interface with PMT, yard, client and contractor
  • Attending onsite operation as company representative.
  • Ensuring the operation as per planned, with quality and safety manner.

HSE Compliance

  • Ensure that all project / company HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded.
  • Promoting company HSE policy throughout the project
  • Participate in HAZOP/HAZID/ Risk Assessment & JSA review in related activity.

Schedule Management

  • Assist to ensure completion of work being executed as according to schedule upon handing over to operation team.
  • Review and monitor project schedule
  • Provide input to Planner for management reporting.

Budget Management

  • Assist to ensure completion of work being executed as according and within approved budget upon handing over to operation team.

Project Bidding

  • Develop Offshore Installation execution plan, scope of work and costing data, to support new project bids, ensuring optimum returns to MISC Offshore and that MISC’s interests are safeguarded
  • Develop installation/decommissioning scope of work
  • Develop Offshore Execution plan
  • Provide cost input
  • Assist in reviewing contract documents and scope of work with regard to clients, contractors and suppliers.


EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENT:

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in oil and gas industry. Preferably with FPSO and FSO experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferably in Marine, Naval Architect, Mechanical or equivalent.
