Job Description

Responsibilities

Applause is looking for a Launch Specialist to work directly with a global technology client's team based in Singapore. This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of product and feature launches within the region. This role acts as a key coordinator across product, engineering, legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product releases.

Basic terms:

  • Title: Launch Specialist
  • Type: Contract for Services (Independent Contractor/Freelancer)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Long-term, 12 months ongoing
  • Capacity: Up to 40 hours per week local standard business hours, Monday-Friday with as needed meetings with the US-based team
  • Location: Mapletree Business City II, Singapore 117371
  • Pay range: 35 to 40 SGP

Key Responsibilities

[Launch Management]

  • Manage comprehensive launch calendars to ensure timely and aligned releases.
  • Coordinate and secure all necessary cross-functional approvals (Product, Engineering, Legal, etc.) throughout the launch lifecycle.
  • Maintain strict adherence to launch processes and schedules.

[Project Support]

  • Assisting TPM to provide operational support for ongoing projects
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Tech, and Product teams to resolve issues and drive projects toward launch milestones.

[Process Improvement]

  • Follow and improve upon best practices for launch management and operational workflows.
  • Manage project trackers and documentation to maintain transparency and project status visibility.

Required Skills:

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams including Product, Engineering, Legal, and Tech.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple project timelines, trackers, and launch calendars simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to triage issues, manage bug queues, and escalate blockers appropriately.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain rigorous schedules and documentation standards.

Pay: $4,263.85 - $4,800.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Project management: 2 years (Required)
  • Software testing: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In person
