Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Audit (Stock Audit) to support the execution of stock audits across our retail stores and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies, preparing audit reports, and recommending process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency and compliance.

This is a contract-based position and requires frequent travel to audit locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled and surprise stock audits at retail stores, franchise outlets, concession counters, and warehouses.
  • Verify inventory accuracy by comparing physical stock against system records.
  • Review stock movements, transfers, and sales records to ensure transactions are properly recorded.
  • Identify stock discrepancies and prepare clear, accurate audit findings and reports.
  • Recommend improvements to inventory processes and operational controls.
  • Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Maintain proper audit documentation and ensure reports are completed within the required timeline.
  • Communicate audit findings professionally with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with special audit assignments and other duties as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in stock audit, inventory audit, internal audit, or a similar role. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in retail, FMCG, or warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willing to travel frequently for audit assignments.
  • Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation (preferred).
