Role: AS400 RPG Developers

Location: Alexandra Building, Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

• To perform A&D, IBM AS400/iSeries application development, SIT, UAT and post-production support for bank quarterly release items and Project changes for Credit applications
• To enhance system functionality by writing efficient, scalable, and well-documented code while ensuring seamless integration with modern technologies
• Contribute to business process automation, system optimization, and application modernization while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain system stability and performance

Skills:

• Proficiency in RPG (RPGLE, RPG IV), COBOL, CL (Control Language), and SQL.
• Proficiency in AS400 Library & file setup
• Knowledge of DB2 for i (IBM DB2 database on AS400)
• User profile and authority management.
• Backup and recovery processes
• Performance tuning and system optimization.
• Debugging issues using STRDBG and job logs.
• Analysing system performance and identifying bottlenecks.
• Handling job failures and implementing process improvements.
• DevOps, Control-M
• Good communication
