Responsibilities
Role Overview:
The Accounting Specialist that supports the Group’s regional and internationaloperations through strong financial governance, accounting oversight, statutorycompliance, and Group reporting across multiple business units and overseasentities.
This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accountingoperations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, supportingoverseas subsidiaries, and maintaining consistency in financial controls andaccounting practices across the Group. The position requires strong technicalaccounting knowledge, operational hands-on capability, and the ability tooperate effectively within a fast-paced and growing multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
· Oversee the full spectrum of accountingoperations across Group entities, including Accounts Payable, AccountsReceivable, General Ledger, fixed assets, and month-end closing activities.
· Ensure timely and accurate preparation ofmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Support overseas projects and cross-projectcollaboration based on country development project requirements, includingcoordination with regional stakeholders, adapting to local market needs, andensuring smooth execution across multiple country-based initiatives.
· Review journal entries, balance sheetreconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
· Monitor cash flow movements and supporttreasury-related activities where required.
Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation
· Support Group-level financial reporting andconsolidation across regional and overseas entities.
· Manage intercompany reconciliations,eliminations, and foreign currency translation adjustments.
· Ensure consistency in accounting treatment andreporting standards across business units and jurisdictions.
· Assist in preparing management reports andfinancial analysis for the Group CFO and senior leadership team.
Overseas Entity Support &Regional Coordination
· Support overseas subsidiaries and regionalfinance teams on accounting, reporting, and compliance matters.
· Coordinate with external accountants, auditors,tax agents, and corporate secretaries across multiple jurisdictions.
· Monitor reporting timelines and ensure overseasentities comply with Group reporting requirements.
· Assist with the setup and operational support ofnew overseas entities and regional expansion initiatives.
Statutory Compliance &Audit Management
· Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, andregulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
· Coordinate year-end audits, statutory filings,and tax submissions with external auditors and advisors.
· Support preparation of audit schedules,technical accounting papers, and supporting documentation.
· Ensure accounting records and financialdocumentation are properly maintained and audit-ready.
Budgeting, Forecasting &Financial Analysis
· Support annual budgeting, forecasting, andreforecasting processes across the Group.
· Monitor actual financial performance againstbudget and highlight variances, operational risks, and key trends.
· Support business units with financial analysis,reporting, and cost monitoring.
· Assist in evaluating operational efficiency andidentifying areas for process and cost improvements.
Cross-Functional &Regional Coordination
· Maintain and strengthen financial controls,accounting policies, and operational governance frameworks.
· Ensure adherence to Group accounting policies,approval matrices, and financial procedures.
· Identify process gaps, operationalinefficiencies, and financial risks, and recommend improvements.
· Support implementation and enhancement offinance systems, reporting tools, and accounting processes.
Cross-Functional Support
· Partner closely with HR, Legal, IT, Operations,and business unit leaders on finance-related matters.
· Support the Group CFO on ad-hoc financialprojects, investment reviews, overseas expansion initiatives, and managementreporting.
· Prepare financial analysis and presentationmaterials for management meetings and strategic discussions.
Key Requirements
Experience &Qualifications
· 3-5 years of relevant accounting or financeexperience, preferably within multinational corporations, regional groups, orfast-growing businesses.
· Prior experience handling Group reporting,consolidation, and overseas entities is strongly preferred.
· Exposure to multi-country accounting operationsand regional compliance matters is highly desirable.
Language & Communication Skills
· Professional proficiency in both English andMandarin (written and spoken).
· Ability to communicate effectively with regionalstakeholders, overseas entities, senior management, and external advisorsacross multiple jurisdictions.
Technical & ProfessionalSkills
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles,financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
· Experience with Group consolidation,intercompany accounting, and foreign currency accounting.
· Strong analytical, reconciliation, andproblem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities andreporting timelines across regions.
