Job Description

Responsibilities

The IT Specialist supports the Group’s regional and international operations by managing IT infrastructure, end-user support, cybersecurity, systems administration, and technology operations across multiple business units and overseas entities.

This role is responsible for ensuring stable and secure day-to-day IT operations across the Group, supporting regional offices and overseas users, maintaining IT governance standards, and assisting in the implementation of scalable technology solutions to support business growth and international expansion.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, operationally strong, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced multinational environment with regional stakeholders and cross-border operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Systems Support

  • Manage and support the Group’s IT infrastructure, including laptops, desktops, servers, networks, printers, conferencing systems, and office IT equipment.
  • Support overseas projects and cross-project collaboration based on country development project requirements, including coordination with regional stakeholders, adapting to local market needs, and ensuring smooth execution across multiple country-based initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues across regional offices and overseas users.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including user account creation, system access management, device setup, and IT asset tracking.
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability to ensure smooth business operations.

2. Regional & Overseas IT Operations

  • Provide remote and on-site IT support for overseas offices, business units, and regional users where required.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, managed service providers, and regional IT partners across different jurisdictions.
  • Support IT setup and operational readiness for new overseas offices, business units, and expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency of IT standards, policies, and operational procedures across regional entities.

3. Cybersecurity & IT Governance

  • Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity measures, endpoint protection, access controls, and data security protocols.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, suspicious activities, and system vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Group IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection requirements.
  • Assist in conducting periodic IT audits, access reviews, backup verification, and disaster recovery checks.

4. Microsoft 365 & Enterprise Systems Administration

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 environment, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and user account management.
  • Manage email systems, distribution lists, permissions, and collaboration tools across the Group.
  • Support ERP, HRIS, finance systems, and other enterprise applications used within the organisation.
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, migrations, and technology rollouts.

5. IT Projects & Digital Transformation

  • Support implementation of new IT systems, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives across the Group.
  • Participate in regional IT projects involving system integration, cloud migration, cybersecurity enhancement, and operational automation.
  • Work closely with Finance, HR, Operations, and business stakeholders to identify operational needs and recommend suitable technology solutions.
  • Assist in documenting IT procedures, user guides, and operational workflows.

6. Vendor & Asset Management

  • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers on procurement, support, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Manage IT inventory, software licenses, subscriptions, warranties, and asset lifecycle tracking.
  • Support budgeting and cost monitoring for IT-related expenditures and renewals.

7. User Support & Training

  • Provide professional and responsive support to end users across different levels of the organisation.
  • Conduct basic user training and awareness sessions on IT systems, cybersecurity practices, and operational tools.
