DFI Retail Group Hiring! Full Time Senior Financial Analyst in Selangor - Ricebowl

At DFI Retail Group, we're seeking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and support one of Malaysia's leading health & beauty retailers. This role plays a key part in financial planning, reporting, and business performance, partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver meaningful financial insights that drive business decisions.

About The Role

• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and profitability analysis
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand financial performance and provide commercial insights
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs to support business performance
• Improve financial reporting processes, dashboards, and reporting efficiency
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modelling, and business case evaluations
• Participate in finance transformation and process improvement initiatives

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) is an advantage
• Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup functions, Power Query)
• Experience with SAP ERP is preferred
• Big Four audit or advisory experience is an added advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, collaborative, and continuously looking for ways to improve processes
