Responsibilities
Service & Operations Management
Supervise daily operations of assigned food service areas including cafés and food spots,
ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Monitor food preparation, service, storage, and presentation in compliance with health,
safety, and Sodexo at Google food standards.
Conducts Meal line Check before meal service in compliance with Sodexo at Google food
safety standards
Ensure the timely execution of opening and closing duties, including equipment shutdown,
cleanliness, temperature logging, and orderliness.
Staff Leadership & Development
Lead, schedule, and evaluate service staff (Food Service Attendants, Food Steward);
ensure adequate staffing levels during shifts.
Support the screening, hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff to ensure service
excellence and compliance with Sodexo and Sodexo at Google policies.
Foster teamwork, coach performance, and recognize individual and team achievements to
improve productivity and morale.
Identify training needs and deliver regular coaching or sessions on service standards,

hygiene, and client protocols.
Quality Control & Customer Experience
Conduct daily inspections to uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all dining
and food preparation areas.
Ensure customer satisfaction by regularly checking on users and addressing service or
food quality concerns professionally.
Collect, review, and respond to client and customer feedback to drive continuous service
improvement.
Inventory & Equipment Oversight
Monitor and control inventory of food items, beverages, and service supplies; ensure
accurate stock levels are maintained.
Ensure proper use and care of service equipment, immediately report any malfunction or
safety hazard, and coordinate maintenance.
Coordinate with the Café Manager and Procurement team to ensure timely restocking and
inventory reporting.
Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and submit shift reports, incident logs, or customer feedback summaries as
required.
Maintain compliance with local health regulations and internal Sodexo at Google service
protocols.
Actively participate in monthly reviews, safety meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensuring proper and complete data entries for food waste on leanpath recorded for meal
periods during their shifts.
Collaboration & Other Duties
Collaborate with kitchen, procurement, and support teams to ensure smooth service flow
and unified delivery.
Collaborate with the Kitchen and Sustainability department to achieve shared goals and
sustainability best practices and implementation.
Assist with other service areas or special projects as assigned by the Café Manager or Site
Lead.
Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in fulfilling cross-functional or ad hoc operational
requirements.
Conduct routine inspections of storage areas, receiving docks, and service points to ensure
proper inventory control, secure handling of goods, and adherence to company policies.
Investigate and report any suspicious activities or identified pilferage gaps immediately,
following established internal procedures and collaborating with relevant departments to
implement corrective actions.
Educational & Technical Requirement :
Education : Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant
Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Or 2 to 3 years related
experience and/or training, or appropriate catering services experience
Experience : Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a food service or hospitality
operations role, preferably within a corporate, hotel, or catering environment.
Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of food safety standards, customer service principles,
and food service management.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English . Demonstrated ability to
manage teams, conduct training, and handle customer concerns diplomatically.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and capable of completing operational and
inventory reports.
Self-motivated, adaptable, honest, and committed to high standards of food and service
quality. Willing to work flexible hours and perform duties across multiple food service Sites if
needed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Operational Excellence
Adherence to SOPs and service standards – ≥ 95% compliance in audits.
Daily service readiness – % of service stations prepared on time for meal service.
Portion control accuracy (PPC) – ≤ 2% variance from standard portions.
Achieve FER of below 4% and meet Leanpath goals (Global Shared Goal, Country Goal
and Cafe Specific Goal). Ensure 95%+ data capture for food waste.
2. Food Safety & Compliance
Food safety audit scores – ≥ 95% compliance.
Proper receiving, storage & temperature checks – 100% documented compliance.
Incident reporting – 100% of food safety incidents reported within 24 hours.
Staff correct PPE and uniform compliance - 100% compliance
3. People & Team Management
Team attendance & scheduling adherence – ≥ 95%.
Training completion – ≥ 90% of the team up-to-date with mandatory training (food safety,
service standards).
Employee engagement – ≥ 90% participation in team meetings, toolbox talks, and learning
sessions.
4. Client & Guest Experience
Complaint resolution time – 100% resolved within 24 hours.
Hospitality standards (C.A.R.E.) compliance – ≥ 90% based on mystery shopper or
manager audits.
Support in engagement programs – % participation in promotions or sustainability
campaigns (e.g., Food Loss & Waste, Plastic Reduction).
5. Financial Performance
Inventory control accuracy – ≤ 2% variance in stocks/raw materials.
Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
