Job description:

The Transport Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating daily delivery operations to ensure goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan delivery routes, schedules, vehicles, and driver assignments.
• Monitor deliveries and resolve delays or operational issues.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, customers, and operations teams.
• Optimise routes to reduce delivery time, mileage, and fuel costs.
• Prepare transport documents and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Monitor vehicle capacity and transport performance.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and road safety requirements.
• Prepare daily and monthly transport reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in logistics, transport, or a related field.
• Experience in transport planning, logistics, or delivery operations.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage changing schedules.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and transport management systems.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
