To ensure all incoming raw materials comply with the Company's quality specifications before they are accepted for production. The incumbent is responsible for conducting inspections, laboratory testing, documenting results, and coordinating with relevant departments to prevent non-conforming materials from entering the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming raw materials according to approved inspection plans and specifications.
• Verify materials against purchase orders, certificates of analysis (COA), technical specifications, and delivery documents.
• Conduct visual inspections for defects, contamination, damage, incorrect labeling, and packaging conditions.
• Perform sampling in accordance with established sampling procedures.

Laboratory Testing

• Conduct physical and laboratory tests on incoming raw materials using approved testing methods.
• Record and interpret test results accurately.
• Ensure all laboratory equipment is calibrated and functioning properly before testing.
• Maintain proper laboratory housekeeping and cleanliness.

Quality Documentation

• Maintain accurate testing records, reports, and inspection data.
• Update quality records into the Company's quality management system.
• File certificates, test reports, and supporting documents systematically.

Non-Conformance Management

• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when required.
• Inform Purchasing, Warehouse, and QAQC HOD of rejected materials.
• Monitor supplier corrective actions where applicable.

Supplier Quality Support

• Assist in supplier quality evaluations.
• Monitor recurring supplier quality issues.
• Provide inspection feedback to support supplier performance improvement.

Compliance

• Ensure inspection activities comply with requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality procedures.
• Comply with company policies, environmental regulations and safety requirements.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Suggest improvements to inspection methods and laboratory processes.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.

General Duties

• Assist in internal and external quality audits.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Management.

Job RequirementsEducation

• Min Diploma in related field.
• SPM holders with relevant laboratory or QAQC experience may be considered.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in QAQC, laboratory testing, or incoming quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in automotive industry is an advantage.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of incoming quality control procedures.
• Understanding of laboratory testing methods.
• Basic understanding of statistical sampling techniques.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
