Role Description The Electrical Engineer Intern will support the engineering team in designing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for EV charging infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with electrical drawings and schematics, participating in system performance evaluations, and helping troubleshoot issues related to power distribution and connectivity. The intern will also contribute to documentation, data collection, and coordination with other technical and operations teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient charging solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya, offering hands-on experience in a fast-growing EV and clean energy environment.


Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering, including Electricity principles and circuit theory.
  • Skills in Electrical Design, such as creating schematics and layouts for low- and medium-voltage systems.
  • Understanding of Power Systems and Power Distribution, with an interest in EV charging infrastructure.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Comfort working in on-site environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with basic engineering software (e.g., CAD tools, simulation software) is an advantage.
  • Interest in sustainable energy, electric vehicles, and emerging mobility technologies.
