Role Description: The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater Johor Bahru. This role is responsible for providing field service support for busduct trunking systems, including installation assistance, commissioning, routine inspections, and corrective maintenance. The Service Engineer will diagnose technical issues, perform troubleshooting and repair activities, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently according to company and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include responding to customer service requests, preparing service reports, coordinating with internal teams for technical escalation, and advising customers on optimal usage and preventive maintenance. The role also involves supporting technical documentation, adhering to safety regulations at customer sites, and representing Linkk professionally during all service interactions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in busduct systems.
• Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site support, commissioning, and customer-facing service activities.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting, customer interaction, and coordination with internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to provide guidance, resolve product-related queries, and assist in root cause analysis.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills to perform scheduled servicing, corrective repairs, and system performance checks.
• Knowledge of power distribution systems, busduct technology, and relevant industry standards is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety and quality procedures.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites
