Job Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and quotations for HVAC projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs from tender and construction drawings.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for cost comparison.
• Prepare tender submissions and cost proposals.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost reports.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Verify subcontractor claims and supplier invoices.
• Monitor project costs to ensure expenditure remains within budget.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Procurement, and Finance Departments on project costing.
• Assist in contract administration and project documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in HVAC or M&E projects.
• Experience in costing HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Good knowledge of construction contracts, project costing, and tendering procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and quantity take-off methods.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
